Jessica Mahaffey, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

Award-winning audiologist Jessica Mahaffey grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, and attended the University of South Alabama, where she earned an undergraduate degree in speech and hearing sciences as well as a minor in sociology and a gerontology certificate. She later received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Dr. Mahaffey, who has been recognized as a South Carolina Outstanding Clinical Audiologist and Aiken’s Top Doc, is board-certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is an adjunct professor at South Carolina State University in the Speech Pathology and Audiology department, and is president-elect on the South Carolina Academy of Audiology board.

Passionate about hearing, Dr. Mahaffey enjoys helping adults and children in all aspects of audiology. She has specialized training in fitting and programming hearing devices for a majority of the leading hearing aid manufacturers. When not helping community members hear and live their best life. Dr. Mahaffey loves traveling, cooking, kayaking, and spending time with her family, friends, and her doggo, Ella.
