Hearing Associates of South Carolina is a private, standalone practice with two locations in Aiken and North Augusta, SC. Dr. Sherri Little is the Owner and lead Audiologist. Dr. Little and her husband acquired the practice over 16 years ago from a previous military audiologist. Since that time Dr. Little and the team at Hearing Associates of South Carolina have been providing the people of our community with diagnostic hearing healthcare. Together, we can help you with all of your hearing related needs, no matter your age, lifestyle, or budget.

Dr. Sherri Little
Dr. Sherri Little received her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in August of 2002. Dr. Little received her Master of Arts degree in 1985 from the University of Tennessee and her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 1984. She is a South Carolina licensed Audiologist. Sherri is also Board Certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (CCC-A), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA).
In addition to working in private practice audiology, Sherri has worked at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA; Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC; Houston’s Hermann Hospital; St. John’s Mercy Medical Center of St. Louis and the world-renowned Shea Clinic in Memphis, TN. During their overseas tours, Sherri worked for the Department of Defense Schools as an Assessor on multidisciplinary special education teams. Those 27 years of experience have given her expertise in the areas of digital hearing aid evaluations and fittings, and all aspects of diagnostic audiology with an emphasis in pediatrics. Dr. Little resides in Aiken, SC with her husband, Dr. Mark Little, a daughter Emily, and two sons, Brady and Phillip.
Dr. Jessica L. Mahaffey
Dr. Jessica Mahaffey grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, and attended the University of South Alabama where she earned an undergraduate degree in Speech and Language Sciences. She later received her doctorate from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of South Carolina, Board Certified by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-A), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). Dr. Mahaffey enjoys working with both adults and children in all aspects of audiology. She has specialized training in the fitting and programming of hearing devices for a majority of the leading hearing aid manufacturers. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Miranda Ross
Dr. Miranda Ross grew up in Washington State and attended Eastern Washington University where she earned undergraduate degrees in Communication Disorders, Applied Psychology, and Special Education (2003). She later received her masters and her doctorate in Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh (2007). She is a licensed Audiologist in Georgia and South Carolina and Board Certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (CCC-A). She enjoys working with adults and pediatrics in all aspects of Audiology. In her spare time, she enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and two small children.
Trey Welsh graduated from Clemson University in 1993 with a B.S. degree in Mathematical Science and a Minor in Computer Science. He joined HASC as a CAOHC (Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist) in 2009. He was born and raised in the midlands of Georgia and South Carolina and currently resides in Clearwater, SC. He is the proud parent of four sons: Ryan, David, Parker, and Nolan.
Molly Van Pelt
Molly Van Pelt is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in communications. Originally from Akron, Ohio she has lived in Aiken since 1989 and considers herself a Southerner. Molly is married to Dean, and the mother of their two sons Brett and Quinn. She loves all sports and especially loves to coach softball.
Brady Francis graduated from Newberry College with a degree in Biology in 2014. After graduating, he joined the HASC team while looking to further his education in a medical related field. Having parents that are both Doctors of Audiology, he thought progressing into the field would be a good idea. Now, Brady holds a Master’s in Business Administration and his Audiologist Assistant Certification. Brady runs the front office and currently resides in Aiken.
Morgan Jones is a 2013 graduate of University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in Business Administration-Marketing. She also holds her Audiologist Assistant Certification. Morgan was born and raised in South Carolina and has been an Aiken resident since childhood. Morgan is a mother of two and is passionate about home décor, to do lists, and cheese fries.
Patient Care Coordinator
Bonnie Culbertson has taught for over 40 years in Aiken. She is still substituting for several elementary schools in the area. She has two children, Staci and Trey. Between her two children she has 4 grandchildren. She loves to read, shop, go to the beach and mountains, and of course play with her grandchildren and two dogs.
Frances Hare joined Hearing Associates of South Carolina in May 2007. Formerly from Greenville, Mississippi where she worked for Greenville Lumber Co for 27 years in sales, purchasing and marketing. Frances is a graduate from Mississippi State University with a business degree. Her husband Pat Hare transferred to Aiken in 2001. They have two sons.
